Alright this entry really has very little if anything to do with Paris-but it is remotely related. My friend Michelle from Bleeding Espresso just had her blog best European Blog. Bleeding Espresso is about life in Italy-which I realize is not where Paris is located, but Paris Italy-they share the Euro and the love of espresso so let’s celebrate and congratulate Michelle.

Paris has so many wonderful neighborhoods where you can wander through and just lose yourself. One of my favourite is Ile St. Louis, right behind Notre Dame. This exclusive residential is great just to wander through, sit down at a cafe on do some shopping. The island has only one main street with all the shops on it.

A fun store to pop into is L’Epicerie (which means spice in English). Here you can sample numerous jams and jellies, mustards and spices. It is well worth the visit-you will not leave without a bag full of goodies. The last time I visited I came home with a berry jam with cognac.
If only I had some fresh croissants.
